“On behalf of all 60 of the province’s boards of education, we implore BC Hydro, the BC Utilities Commission, and the Ministry of Education and Child Care to work together and recognize the value of removing these metering caps for all public school facilities.”
Two students in the Samuel Robertson Technical hairstylist program are heading to the national hairstylist skills championship after taking home medals at the provincial competition earlier this month.

“As you know, school districts in B.C. must adopt a balanced budget for the upcoming school year by June 30, 2022. This year, boards of education are tasked with developing a budget and making decisions that impact students while not being provided with adequate funding.”
School trustees are ordinary citizens elected by other citizens to represent the interest of the entire public in the education process of creating our next generation of citizens to strengthen Canadian democracy.
The SD83 Individual Achievement Program (IAP) is designed to support students with diverse abilities reach their full potential and transition into the larger community.
