Provincial Council
BCSTA’s Provincial Council meetings take place several times a year and are also host to our standing committee meetings.
BCSTA’s Provincial Council was established in 1987. It was formed to ensure that the interests of all boards are represented in the governance of BCSTA and to facilitate an ongoing dialogue around issues facing the association and its member boards across the province.
The usual format for in-person meetings includes standing committee meetings on Thursday and Friday, a guest speaker on Friday evening, then oral standing committee reports and business on Saturday, followed by our afternoon issues forum. Meetings are occasionally held virtually.
