Grade 6/7 students at Maple Ridge Elementary learned how to write their own meaningful land acknowledgements as part of Truth and Reconciliation Week.

BCSTA’s Updated Learning Guides are a valuable resource for boards of education.
BCSTA’s Indigenous Education Committee has launched the Trustee Knowledge Series in response to the B.C. Tripartite Education Agreement to help trustees, as well as members of the general public, learn more about Indigenous issues in education.
In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Child Care, BCSTA will be hosting webinars for members and district senior staff.
Trustees can access items such as district policies, meeting minutes, the Learning Guide, discussions and more on the BCSTA HUB.
