Each student will receive a $750 scholarship to support their continued education at a recognized post-secondary institution or in skills and career training.

“Supporting student success is at the heart of our association. The Student Citizenship Scholarship is one way we recognize and celebrate the dedication, leadership, and community spirit of B.C.’s graduating students. We recognize the hard work, resilience, and contributions these students gave to their school communities, and we are proud to celebrate their accomplishments as they take this important step forward in their educational journey.” — Tracy Loffler, President, The British Columbia School Trustees Association.

The BCSTA Student Citizenship Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exemplary citizenship through their values, leadership, and commitment to making a difference in their schools. Applications are evaluated on the student’s personal journey, contributions, and future aspirations.

As students around the province take the next step in their educational and career paths, the BCSTA would like to extend its congratulations and best wishes to all B.C. graduates completing their K–12 education this year.
