BCSTA recently received several letters from Minister Jennifer Whiteside of the Ministry of Education and Child Care in response to a number of motions from our annual general meeting.
Response received November 3, 2022, regarding funding for universal food programs.
Response received October 26, 2022, regarding revisions to the School Act to include the acknowledgement of traditional territories, barriers students with precarious or no immigration status face and a review of the Attributes of a BC Graduate.
Response received October 26, 2022, regarding advocacy on the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action #’s 7, 10, 11, 12, and 57.
